For February's Community AMA, meet Manuela Caicedo and Kamil Szybalski, Product Managers for Slack Platform, and dive into the world of building agents in Slack.
If you're curious about how to create powerful, context-aware agents that live right where your team already works, or want to understand the nuts and bolts of the Slack's new Real-Time Search (RTS) API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities, this AMA is for you. Don't miss this chance to learn from the experts building the platform agents and AI call home.
How it will work
This event takes place entirely in the Slack Community workspace, and does not have a virtual video component.
Join the Community workspace (check your registration email for access).
Once you're in the workspace, visit the #slack-ama channel and complete the 'Submit an AMA question' workflow (this workflow will open 24 hrs before the event begins)
Your question will be reviewed and then if approved, posted into #slack-ama during the AMA hour.
The team will answer the question in the thread. You can reply in-thread, too!
If you aren't available at the time of the event, no worries; you can always catch up (and join the conversation!) later on.
About the Slack Community HQ chapter
This community is open to people from any industry and background who have an interest in Slack. We can't wait to meet you!
Gentle Reminder
All attendees are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately, including during casual conversations. By attending or joining the workspace, you agree to follow these expectations. If you or anyone you notice feel uncomfortable, please reach out to the organizers. Please review the Code of Conduct before the event.
