Chapter leads organize, run and manage all chapter events—at least four per year, though the more the merrier! This includes upholding our Code of Conduct and fostering a safe and inclusive experience for our members.

Slack Community Leader Requirements

Before you apply to become a Slack Community Leader, please review the eligibility requirements.

  • Slack Certification or 6 Slack badges: Applicants must have either at least one Slack Certification or at least six Slack badges on Trailhead.
  • You are able to host at least one event per quarter (or four per year).
  • Location restrictions:
    • Please ensure there are no active chapters within 50 miles/80 kilometers of the chapter you are applying to lead.
    • You live or work in the location where you want to start the Slack Community chapter.
    • At this time, we are not accepting applications from the following countries: Nigeria.
  • You may only lead or co-lead one group at a time across all Salesforce communities. If you are a leader of another user group for Trailblazers, Tableau, or MuleSoft, you are ineligible to apply to lead a Slack Community chapter.
