Hello Slack Enthusiasts,

Inevitably, all of us will bring on or interface with new Slack users at some point. And we'll do our best to make sure that they feel welcomed, comfortable with Slack, and have all of the knowledge necessary to function in our Workspace. The primary purpose of this event is to discuss what we should consider when onboarding a new Slack user, particularly regarding Slack features and usage; do we discuss scheduled messages, profile updates, lists, channel canvases, that fancy new workflow that creates a list item? What about our internal practices like threads versus channel messages versus direct messages? Where to begin?

This event also serves as the first event for the re-launch of the Austin chapter so we'll discuss some logistics around our future meeting preferences, topics, and other relevant chapter items.
