Slack AMA: Meet Steve Wood, VP of Developer Platform

About this event

Join us in the Slack workspace for an ask-me-anything session with Steve Wood, VP of Product, Developer Platform at Slack.

Earlier this year, Steve Wood joined the team at Slack as VP of Product, Developer Platform, bringing a host of experience in the world of platform and workflows. At Slack Frontiers, Steve shared what's next for the Slack Platform, and a vision for the future. There are a lot of exciting things coming up for folks who are building on Slack. This is your opportunity to ask Steve anything—whether it's about the roadmap for developers, announcements from Frontiers, or even what it's like to work at Slack. Register now to get access to the workspace and the AMA channel.

How it will work

  1. If you aren't already in the community workspace, you'll need to join us in Slack (check your RSVP confirmation email for the link!).
  2. Once you're in the workspace, join #slack-ama.
  3. Click on the blue lightning bolt in the message composer. It's on the left of the input box.
  4. Select the "Ask AMA question" workflow. This will open a dialog box where you can add your question.
  5. Your question will post into the AMA channel.
  6. Steve will answer the question in the thread.
