About this event

Say hello to Slack's newest feature: lists! Lists make it simple to drive accountability across your team. From planning marketing campaigns and product releases to managing employee onboarding and technology deployments, you can keep work on track in a list. The opportunities are truly endless.

For September's Ask Me Anything (AMA), Slack Community welcomes Frances, Serina, Steve, and Colleen from the Slack lists team. Learn more about how this feature came to life, how it was designed, and what's to come for this powerful native Slack feature. Whether you're curious about lists, want to learn more about the careers of Slack employees, or want to explore building your very first list, this AMA is for you. And, if you're attending Dreamforce, this event is a great way to get a sneak peek at all the lists magic that will be shared at Dreamforce 2024.

Frances, Serina, Steve, and Colleen are looking forward to answering your questions!

Join us in the Slack workspace for an ask-me-anything.

How it will work

  • This event takes place entirely in the Slack Community workspace, and does not have a virtual video component.
  • Join the Community workspace (check your registration email for access).
  • Once you're in the workspace, visit the #slack-ama channel
  • Go to the bookmarks bar and select "Workflows" (or closer to the event, view the post in-channel for a link to the workflow)
  • Select the "Submit your AMA question" workflow. This will open a dialog box where you can add your question to the queue.
  • Your question will be reviewed and then if approved, posted into the public AMA channel for the host(s) to answer.
  • The team will answer the question in the thread. You can reply in-thread, too!
