Trish Ang is an engineering manager on the Slack Systems team, encompassing both Ally Accessibility and Slack Kit, our product design system. She’s been at Slack for more than four years, previously as a staff front-end engineer on the Slack Kit and Platform teams. Aside from her technical work at Slack, she is an active advocate for diversity, engagement and belonging. She’s the co-lead for Slack’s Out employee resource group, for LGBTQIA+ employees, and most recently worked on releasing pronouns as a default field on Slack. When she’s not at a computer, you can find her out rock climbing, mushroom foraging or otherwise enjoying nature. Her most recent challenge involves juggling a 6-month-old son with her wife while both working from home in Davis, California.
