VIEW AGENDA
We're kicking off our first ever community-led Slack event introducing the Slack Platform Community, having a talk from Zach Mathew on Lessons Learned from Building and Scaling a Slack bot. Zach is an Engineering Manager at Slack, based out of the Toronto office. Prior to joining Slack, he created Meeting Bot (a Slack bot for scheduling and managing meetings), worked on the Alexa Local Speech Engine at Amazon, and helped build the payments platform at FreshBooks.
After that, we would love to hear from you what you expect and want to see in future events. There will be an opportunity to network and share with other makers in the Slack community. We can't wait to meet you!
A Gentle Reminder
All attendees are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately, including during casual conversations. By attending, you agree to follow these expectations. If you or anyone you notice feel uncomfortable, please reach out to the organizers. Please review the Code of Conduct before the event.
